ABERDEEN HAND GUNNERS
Aberdeen Hand Gunners have been active in some way or another in the Aberdeen area for the last 28 years. Many of the members started shooting in our club in the .22 rim fire class and later progressed into the center fire class, shooting revolvers and auto hand guns. We also have members that do not shoot competitively in our matches, but have joined to have access to our range for target practice.
The basis of our sport is to have fun. Your presence and conduct is far more important than your shooting ability. If you're not doing good from the start, don't give up. You will improve with practice and our club will do everything to help you along. We all went through that learning process when we started.
The three principles of shooting at our club are to:
always be safe
always try to do well
always have fun
All matches are held at he Sportsman's Club of Brown County Rifle Range, located on South US Highway 281, 5.5 miles from the Starlight Corner. Range masters must be present for practice.
