Join us on October 14, 2018 for a very special event being held at the Brown County Sportsman’s Club Rifle Range.  During this very special event the Brown County Sportsman’s Club Rifle Range will be renamed in honor of a local legend, Arnie Goldade.  Renaming of the range will be part of an afternoon-long celebration that kicks off at 1 p.m.  Beginning at 1 p.m. the range will be open to the public with no-fee shooting and free targets.  From 3 to 4 p.m. there will be a .22-caliber rifle competition with a $5 entry fee.  Competitors will use open-sight, bolt action rifles provided by the Sportsman’s Club.  Competitors will get five practice shots  and five shots for the competition.  The winner will split the entry-fee pot with the Sportsman’s Club.  The formal dedication will take place at 4 p.m.  Cookies, ice cream and drinks will be provided and the day will end with a free raffle drawing for a rifle.  You must be present to win the rifle, which is a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight with a blued barrel and gorgeous wood stock that’s chambered in .270 WSM.  Remember you must be present at the time of the drawing to win the rifle.  Please come early and stay late for the official dedication of the Arnie Goldade Shooting Range.
