HB 1127 Was deferred from today until Monday on the Senate Floor.
HB 1055 dealing with the GF&P Commission Passed Senate Ag 5 to 4 and is going to
Full Senate.
HB 1264 was deferred in Senate Ag. until Tuesday, it is being Amended. These Lic.
will be free and no $5 surcharge will be charged. Some other language regarding
the Dept. is being Amended. Have not seen all of the Amendments.

HB 1127: authorize landowners and lessees to possess certain game animal and
game bird trophies.

big game hunting licenses

HB 1066: provide for the issuance of landowner-sponsored big game hunting
licenses.
This Bill allows Transfer of Big Game tags, but adds a donut for the public
hunter. It requires the landowner to allow some public hunting for antlerless

HB 1067: restrict the entry of conservation officers onto certain private land
without permission.
This Bill will stop the CO from going onto Private property without permission.

HB 1098: require state agencies to conduct a public hearing before acquiring
certain real property.
This would make GF&P conduct a public meeting about purchasing of lands. They
basically do it now with the "open Mic" will let you know more about it as I

HB 1102: correct an error in the boundary description of the Wall Lake State
Game Bird Refuge in Hand County
This would remove some private land out of the Wall Lake State Game Bird Refuge.

HB 1114: broaden the policy review committee for animal damage control.
Location; House Ag. HB 1114 wants to expand the Review Committee by two Aggies.
I think we need to lobby for a Wildlife person on the committee, after all
sportsmen/women pay 2/3 of the bill with a Federal match. We should have some

HB 1113: specify certain animal species for animal damage control.
Location; House Ag. HB 1113 wants to restrict what the Animal Damage fund can be
spent for. (they want to limit it to certain predators) the problem with the
Bill would be there is still going to be damage done by "other" animals and WDM
will still control those nuisance pests and Sportsmen/women will still foot the

HB 1115: provide for annual audits of the state predatory animal control fund.

HB 1121: require a permit and fee for public access on certain school and public
lands and to establish a penalty.
